Randall Oliver is an American actor with a career spanning nearly four decades, encompassing film, television, theater, and stunt work.

 

Born in Bloomington, Illinois, and raised in Central Texas, he began his acting journey in high school theater and later transitioned into professional acting after a stint in modeling and commercial work.

 

Career Highlights

     Film and Television

Oliver's filmography includes roles in notable films such as RoboCop (1987), RoboCop 2 (1990), and Oliver Stone’s The Doors (1991). He gained recognition for his lead role as Claude Bruneaux in the Cajun thriller Rugaru (2012), earning the Best Actor award at the Lake Charles Film Festival.

 

His other film credits encompass Cream of the Crop, Mindreader, No Loss /No Gain, Tag Team Truckers, and The Bigfoot Election .

On television, Oliver has appeared in series such as In Plain Sight, Baywatch, Designing Women, Murphy Brown, and Down Home. He also featured in the 1990s series Wild West Showdown.

 

Stunt Work and Theater

Beyond acting, Oliver has an extensive background in stunt performance, particularly in western-themed productions. He performed in live stunt shows at Universal Studios and participated in the Miami Vice Action Spectacular. His theater work includes roles in productions like Bus Stop and The Importance of Being Earnest
